A Guide to Everbuild Aquaseal Liquid Roof System

In addition to being designed for flat roofs and pitched roofs, Everbuild’s Aquaseal Liquid Roof is a fast-curing, polyurethane-based waterproofing liquid membrane. Due to its remarkable adhesion capabilities, this product can be applied to both porous and non-porous substrates, making it ideal for establishing new ventures, expanding existing facilities, or rejuvenating existing, problematic roofs.

With two coatings applied to various substrates, this expeditious-curing membrane solidifies quickly under a wide range of weather conditions (limitations apply), demonstrating complete resistance to rain within 10 minutes. Even in the presence of a pool of water accumulating on the EVERBUILD Aquaseal Liquid Roof, it solidifies!

Key Characteristics and Advantages:

  • Suitable for both new and existing roofs.
  • Utilizes moisture curing technology, eliminating the need for a catalyst.
  • Rapid curing process, becoming rain resistant in just 10 minutes.
  • Designed to withstand various weather conditions.
  • Convenient and ready to use, applicable with a brush or roller.
  • Forms a seamless membrane.
  • Can be reinforced if necessary.

How Does it Come?

In addition to 7kg and 21kg metal tins, EVERBUILD® Aquaseal® Liquid Roofs come in a grey color. If stored in an unopened container, the product has a shelf life of 12 months after manufacture. The shelf life of the product may be reduced, however, if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C.

It should be stored upright in their original packaging for proper storage. The product must be kept dry and well ventilated in a temperature range of 0°C to 25°C. In order to maintain its integrity and performance, it must be protected from sunlight and frost.

How to Apply It?

A soft bristle brush or roller resistant to solvents can be used to apply EVERBUILD® Aquaseal® Liquid Roof. To achieve a uniform color, stir the product gently if it has settled or separated before applying. Overmixing can cause air entrainment, so avoid it at all costs.

Generally, priming is not necessary (limitations apply), but for porous or irregular surfaces, it is recommended to apply an additional prime coat of 0.25-0.3L/m2.

Make sure that all surfaces are clean, dust-free, and free of loose materials before applying the liquid roof. Protect handrails and other areas with tape or plastic wrap before applying the liquid roof.

In order to ensure that roof coatings are properly installed, it is recommended to apply two coats at a depth of 1 mm each. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat, which typically takes around six hours at a temperature of 20°C.

Cleaning Tools after Use

Wash hands and skin with soapy water or use Everbuild Multi Use Wonder Wipes after using tools and equipment. Hardened/cured materials cannot be removed mechanically.
